Winter storms can create beautiful blankets of white but they can also leave scenes of destruction behind. The blizzard of early 2016, which dumped as much as 43 inches of snow on the Eastern Panhandle, crushed Blue Mountain Farm's biggest high tunnel and damaged most of its low tunnels.
